The current database includes:
- 2016 – Lower Chamber races across 40 states, including 3500+ websites
- 2018 – Upper and Lower Chamber races with non-major party candidates, including 6500+ Websites
- 2019 – Upper and Lower Chamber races with non-major party candidates, including 400+ Websites
- 2020 – Upper and Lower Chamber races with non-major party candidates, including 6000+ Websites
- 2021 – Upper and Lower Chamber races with non-major party candidates, including 400+ Websites
- 2022 – Upper and Lower Chamber races with non-major party candidates including primary candidates, including 9000+ Websites
Data processing is ongoing for all years but final products will include:
- Candidate level statement pages by year.
- State level issue reviews, including all statements on a particular issue from within the state.
- Measures of candidate and state-level issue salience based on character counts.
- Ideology scoring based on text analysis of issue positions.
- Cross-policy framing analysis, to identify recurrent policy themes across states.
- A public archive of candidate websites produced in partnership with Archive-It.
